Feast with our Favorite Gluten-Free Holiday Helpers
Do you have a friend or family member with celiac disease? Or maybe a co-worker who is gluten-intolerant? The Holidays can be a stressful time with busy schedules and extra gatherings to celebrate. For people with food allergies and intolerances, this comes with the added stress of not knowing if foods are safe.
Foods that are labeled as gluten-free may also cost more money and may have different taste or texture than their non-gluten-free counterpart. I am going to share some of my favorite Holiday go-to items that taste great AND are gluten-free.
Have you tried Good Graces? With over 90 different items within their line, this brand can help make your Holiday a success. A common holiday staple is stuffing and while making your own from scratch is great, it is always good to have help from convenient options like Good Graces stuffing mix. My favorite dish to bring to holiday gatherings is green bean casserole and Good Graces can help make that gluten-free with their French fried onions and cream of mushroom soup. They also have several different soup options, a variety of dry dip and seasoning mixes, baking essentials like almond flour and gluten-free flour as well as pasta options and so much more! Bonus, this brand is budget friendly and tastes great!
The appetizer table isn’t complete without a variety of dips, charcuterie boards and cheese platters. These commonly come with crackers which tend to be a source of gluten. Have you tried Simple Mills pita crackers? They have multiple flavors to choose from and don’t crumble instantly when touched. Another great cracker option are Crunchmaster multi-seed crackers. For sweet dips, try Crunchmaster dark chocolate brownie thins.
Are you in charge of the sweets for the Holiday gathering? Enjoy Life has a variety of chocolate chip options perfect for melting, coating baked goods, or tossing into your favorite cookies or bars. All Enjoy Life products are free of the top 14 allergens. MI-DEL has a variety of baking staples from ginger snaps to pie crust options. Dandies are a great option for marshmallows that can be used in a variety of Holiday desserts. Rest assured there are plenty of great gluten-free options to have at the table for your gluten-free friends and family this Holiday season!
